Achievements

Hallmark Awards honor individual, chapter and region accomplishments in the disciplines of the Society's four Hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Lambda Rho Chapter participated in 2010.

The Five Star Chapter Development Plan was designed to provide every chapter a step-by-step guide to optimizing the benefits and programs offered by Phi Theta Kappa.

Your Regional Awards - Each of Phi Theta Kappa's 29 Regions sponsors an annual awards program, honoring outstanding chapters, members and advisors within the region.

Scholarships

All-USA Academic Teams for Community Colleges recognize scholarly achievements and leadership accomplishments of students enrolled in community, technical and junior colleges.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, the American Association of Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa are pleased to announce New Century Scholars, an additional scholarship and national recognition opportunity available only to students nominated to the All-USA Academic Team. The highest scoring All-USA applicant from each of the 50 states will be named a New Century Scholar. Each New Century Scholar will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Guistwhite Scholar Program, a merit-based program, enhances Phi Theta Kappa members' attainment of baccalaureate degrees and serves to recognize the scholarly achievements of Phi Theta Kappa members.

Leaders of Promise provides new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help defray educational expenses while enrolled in a community college in order to develop leadership potential through participation in Society programs.

The Pinnacle Award is a membership enhancement program that rewards both chapters and regions with scholarship stipends, in recognition of their success in recruitment of new members.

Your chapter won a Pinnacle Award last year.
Your chapter has enrolled in the Program for 2010 and must report 49 members.
Your chapter has already reported 25 members to date.

Programs

The Honors Study Topic, The Democratization of Information: Power, Peril, and Promise, brings important, current issues to the fore and encourages Phi Theta Kappans to examine how these issues affect their lives.
